Ad Listo L.L.C. (“AdListo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use our websites (including AdListo.com, AdListo.us, and AdListo.ca, collectively referred to as the “Sites”) and any related mobile applications or services. By accessing or using our Sites and services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our practices, you should discontinue use of our Sites and services. Please read this policy carefully, as it contains important information about your rights and our obligations under applicable law in the United States and Canada.

We have drafted this Privacy Policy to comply with relevant U.S. and Canadian privacy laws and to be transparent about our data handling practices. In particular, we adhere to the principles and requirements of the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act) for U.S. users, and the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and other applicable Canadian privacy legislation for Canadian users. We strive to present this information in clear, plain language in accordance with the “openness” principle of Canadian privacy law, which emphasizes that organizations must clearly convey their personal information management practices.

Scope:
This Privacy Policy applies to all personal information (“personal information” or “personal data”) that we collect through the AdListo Sites and services. “Personal information” in this context means any information about an identifiable individual. This includes details such as your name, email address, telephone number, postal code or location, IP address, account credentials, and any other information that can be reasonably linked to you. It does not include information that has been de-identified or aggregated so that it can no longer be used to identify a specific individual. It also does not include any publicly available information as defined under certain laws (for example, information you choose to make public on our platform or information lawfully made available from government records is not considered “personal” under some U.S. laws) oag.ca.gov.

Relation to Other Policies:
This Privacy Policy is part of the AdListo Terms of Use and is incorporated therein by reference. Your use of our Sites is subject not only to this Privacy Policy but also to our other published policies, including our Terms of Use, Posting Policy, Disclaimer, and Cookie Policy. You can find links to these documents on our Sites’ legal section for your reference. For example, our Terms of Use requires that users be responsible for the content they post and to comply with all applicable laws, and it references this Privacy Policy as governing our handling of user data adlisto.com. We encourage you to review all these policies to fully understand the rules and guidelines for using AdListo.

By using AdListo, you acknowledge that we will collect, use, and disclose your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy, and you consent to such practices. We may seek additional specific consent from you for certain collections or uses of your data when required by law (for instance, if we ever collect sensitive personal details or intend to use your information for a purpose that requires explicit consent). If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or our data practices, you can contact us any time at support@adlisto.com or via our online contact form (available at adlisto.com/contact), and we will be happy to clarify our practices.

In the sections below, we outline in detail:

  1. the categories of personal information we collect and the sources of that information (for example, information you provide directly versus information collected automatically through technology);

  2. how we use your personal information and for what purposes (such as to provide our services, to communicate with you, to improve our platform, and to enforce our policies);

  3. how and when we share or disclose your personal information, and with whom (including the categories of third parties that may receive information, and clarifying that we do not sell your data);

  4. our use of cookies and similar tracking technologies on the Sites (and how you can manage or opt out of certain cookies);

  5. how we store and protect your information, and how long we retain it (our data security measures and retention practices);

  6. your rights and choices regarding your personal information, including specific rights for residents of the U.S. (especially California) and Canada (for instance, rights to access, delete, or correct information, to opt out of certain data uses, and more); and

  7. other important information, such as how we handle children’s privacy, how we manage international data transfers, how we will notify you of changes to this policy, and how you can contact us with questions or concerns. All of these efforts underscore our ultimate goal: to respect your privacy at every step and maintain your trust in AdListo.

Information We Collect and How We Collect It

Information You Provide Directly:
We collect personal information that you choose to provide to us when using the AdListo platform. This includes information you provide when creating an account, posting ads, filling out your profile, contacting us, or otherwise interacting with our services. For example, when you register an account, we will ask for identifiers and contact information such as your name, email address, and a password, and (in some cases) your phone number for verification. You may also provide additional profile details like a profile photo or avatar, and your general location (city, region, or postal code) to help other users know where you are located. If you create a business account, you might provide your business name, logo, and business contact details as part of your profile. When you post a listing or advertisement, we collect all the information you include in your ad content. This can include the title and description of the item or service you are advertising, the price, photos you upload (please be mindful that photos may carry metadata or reveal information unintentionally – for example, a picture could include your image or surroundings, or embedded data like geolocation, so consider removing sensitive details before uploading), the category and relevant details (e.g., condition of an item, salary for a job post, etc.), and the location of the listing (such as the city or neighborhood for the item or service). If you choose to include personal contact information in the body of your listing (for example, a phone number or email address in the ad description), that information will be collected by us as part of the listing and will be visible to other users as you have disclosed it. We also collect communications that you send through our platform or directly to us. For instance, if you use AdListo’s internal messaging system to communicate with a buyer or seller, the content of those messages (and metadata like date and time) are stored on our systems. Similarly, if you contact our customer support (via email at support@adlisto.com or through our web contact form), or if you respond to surveys, participate in promotions, or otherwise send us information, we will collect and retain such information. If we run promotional events, contests, or surveys in which you voluntarily participate, we will collect the information you submit for those purposes (for example, your survey responses, contest entries, or any additional contact information needed to administer the promotion). We will use that information only for the purposes disclosed at the time of collection (such as to enter you into a contest, to improve our services based on your feedback, or to award prizes) and as otherwise described in this Policy. We may also collect information you provide when you report a problem with our Sites or otherwise provide feedback and comments. All of the personal data that you provide to us directly is collected with your knowledge and consent (since you actively submit it), and you can choose not to provide certain optional information; however, note that some features (such as posting an ad or creating an account) may not be usable if required information is not provided. Please do not include sensitive personal information such as government-issued identification numbers, financial account numbers, or health/medical information in your profile or listings, as AdListo has no need for such data and any information you post publicly can be seen by others. We will never ask you to provide sensitive data in order to use our basic services. If you choose to include personal information about someone else in any content you provide (for example, posting someone else’s contact details in an advertisement or referring a friend), you should only do so with that person’s consent. By submitting personal information about another individual, you represent that you have obtained that individual’s permission to let us collect and use their information as described in this Policy.

Information Collected Automatically:
Like many online services, AdListo and our service providers automatically collect some information about you and your device when you use our Sites. This technical and usage information may not always identify you by name, but it may be linked to you or your device and is therefore often considered personal information under various laws oag.ca.gov. This data includes Device and Connection Information (such as your device type, browser type and version, operating system, unique device identifiers, and IP address), as well as Log and Usage Data (such as the dates and times you access our Sites, the pages or listings you view, search queries you enter, how you interact with links or features, and the referring webpage or app that led you to AdListo). We collect IP addresses for purposes such as inferring your approximate location (e.g., to display local listings or auto-select your country or city), diagnosing service issues, and detecting potential fraud or malicious activity. We also use Cookies and similar tracking technologies (such as web beacons, pixels, and mobile advertising IDs) to collect information about your browsing activities over time and across different parts of our Sites. Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device to save preferences and track your activities. Through these technologies, we may also collect error logs or crash reports if something goes wrong (for instance, if our mobile app crashes, it can send us a report of the technical details so we can diagnose the problem). Additionally, we collect data such as what pages you visited, the content you viewed or clicked on, and other analytics about your use of AdListo. This helps us remember your preferences, personalize your experience, and analyze how our platform is used. Some cookies and trackers are also used to support our advertising and affiliate programs (for example, if we display third-party ads or affiliate links, cookies may track if you clicked an ad or made a purchase after clicking, so that we can manage commissions or advertisements). For more details on how we use cookies and how you can control them, please see the “Cookies and Tracking Technologies” section of this Privacy Policy (and our separate Cookies Policy). The information we automatically collect, such as IP address, device identifiers, and cookie data, can often identify a particular device or user, especially when combined with other data, so we treat it as personal information when required by law.

Information from Third Parties:
We may also obtain some information about you from third-party sources, which we treat with the same care as data you give us directly. For example, if you choose to sign in via a social media or external account (such as Google, Facebook, or Apple), we will receive certain information from that account – typically your name and email address, and possibly a profile photo – as provided by that service. The specific data we get depends on what that third-party service provides and your settings or consents with them. We only use this information to streamline your registration and login process, and we will not post anything to your third-party social media profile or contact your friends or connections on those platforms without your consent. Another example is payment information: if you decide to purchase a premium listing or other paid services on AdListo, payments are processed by third-party payment processors (e.g., credit card companies or payment platforms). We do not receive or store your full financial account details (such as full credit card numbers); however, the payment processor will send us certain information related to the transaction – for instance, a confirmation that payment was made, the amount, date and time of the transaction, and the last four digits of your card or an identifier for the transaction. We will maintain records of your purchases and transactions on AdListo for accounting and auditing purposes. Additionally, we might receive information if you engage with our social media pages or profiles (for example, if you reach out to us via an official AdListo Facebook/Twitter page or tag us in a post, we may collect that information under the terms of the social media platform). Finally, for purposes of security and fraud prevention, we may receive fraud alerts or identity verification information from third-party verification services or partners (if we employ such services in the future) to help us confirm user identities or screen for suspicious activity.

In summary, the personal information we collect broadly falls into those three groups:

(a) information you provide,
(b) information collected through automated means, and
(c) information obtained from outside sources. In terms of categories of personal information (as some privacy laws define them), the information we collect can include: Identifiers (like your name, email, phone number, IP address, and device IDs); Customer Account Details (like account name, password, profile information, and records of the services you have used or purchases you have made on AdListo); Personal Characteristics or Preferences (any demographic information or preferences you optionally provide in profiles or listings); Commercial Information (such as details about the listings you have posted or inquiries you have made, and any purchases of AdListo features); Internet or Electronic Activity Information (your interactions with our website and app, as described in the usage data above); General Geolocation Data (approximate location based on IP or information you input for listings); and Inferences we may draw from your interactions (for instance, to suggest relevant listings or ads you might be interested in, based on your browsing history). We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information such as precise geolocation (via GPS), government IDs, or biometric identifiers through AdListo, and we ask that you refrain from providing such information on our platform. (Any other personal information or content you choose to submit through our services will also be collected and treated in accordance with this Policy.)

Please note that we may combine information from different sources listed above to create a unified record of your interactions with AdListo. For example, if you are logged in, we might link the activity data collected through cookies to your account information, so that we can associate your site usage with your account and preferences. Similarly, if you sign up through a social media account, we might integrate the information received (like your profile name or picture) with the profile data we already have for you. By combining data across sources, we can better understand your needs, personalize your experience (for instance, suggest listings similar to those you viewed), and detect fraud or security issues (for instance, recognizing if the same user account is accessing the service from multiple devices or unusual locations). Rest assured, however, that no matter how we obtain or combine your personal information, it will be processed and protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

How We Use Your Information
We use the personal information we collect for a variety of purposes intended to operate, protect, and enhance our services, as well as to comply with our legal obligations. In general, AdListo uses your information to provide and improve the platform, to communicate with you, to personalize your experience, to ensure safety and security, to enforce our policies, and to fulfill requirements under the law. More specifically, the ways in which we use your information include:

To Provide and Maintain Our Services:
We use your information to allow you to access and use the AdListo platform and its features. For example, we use your account information to create and manage your account, authenticate you when you log in, and provide you with your account dashboard and settings. Information in your profile is used to populate your account page and, in the case of business accounts, to present your business details to other users. When you post an advertisement or listing, we use the information in that listing (description, images, price, location, etc.) to publish the listing on our Sites so that other users can view it and respond. We may also use the content of your listings to format and categorize them correctly (for instance, showing your listing under the appropriate category and location). Essentially, all the data you provide that forms part of the service (like listing content or profile details) is used to deliver that service back to you and to other users.

Facilitating Transactions and User Interactions:
We use personal information to enable user-to-user communications and transactions. For example, if you express interest in another user’s listing, we might use your information to send your message to that user (via our internal messaging system or via email, depending on how the platform is set up). If you apply to a job posting through AdListo, we will forward the information you provide to the listing’s poster. We may use your contact information to notify you about activity on your listings (such as sending you an email or in-app notification that someone has sent you a message or inquiry) or to remind you about listings you have started but not finished posting. If you make a payment for a premium listing or service, we use the payment information (through our payment processor) to complete the transaction and provide you the paid features or services you purchased. We might also send you receipts or transaction confirmations when you make purchases.

Communication and Customer Support:
We use your contact information (like your email address and/or phone number) to communicate with you about your account, your listings, and our services. This includes sending you service-related announcements and administrative messages such as account verification emails, notifications about changes to our terms or policies, confirmations of your actions (e.g., confirming when you post an ad or when someone replies to your ad), and other similar communications. If you contact us with a question, request, or complaint, we will use the information you provided (including your contact details and the content of your inquiry) to address and respond to you. For instance, our support team may use your information to investigate an issue you reported with a listing and will get back to you via email or our support system. We may also send you informational communications about how to use AdListo and updates about new features or improvements to the platform that may affect you. In jurisdictions where it is required or appropriate, we will obtain your consent before sending certain types of communications (for example, marketing emails as discussed below).

Personalization and User Experience Improvement:
We may use information about your activities and preferences to personalize your experience on AdListo. This can include customizing the content we show you on the homepage or in search results (for example, showing you listings in your area or in categories you’ve shown interest in), remembering your preferences (such as saved searches or favorite listings), and otherwise tailoring our services to be more relevant to you. We analyze usage data and feedback to understand how users interact with our Sites so we can make improvements. For example, we might detect that users in a certain city frequently search for a particular category of item, so we could adjust our category listings or search algorithms to better serve that demand. We might also use your browsing history or past activity to suggest “recommended” listings or send you targeted notifications about new listings that match your interests, where applicable. All of these activities are aimed at making AdListo more useful and engaging for you.

Advertising and Marketing:
We may use your information for advertising and marketing purposes, in accordance with applicable laws. This might include sending you promotional communications about new features, special offers, or services from AdListo that we believe you might find valuable. For instance, if you have subscribed to our newsletter or opted in to receive marketing emails, we will use your email address to send you updates about deals or promotions on AdListo. (If required by law, such communications will be sent only with your consent, and you will have the ability to opt out at any time.) We also use cookies and usage data to deliver and measure the effectiveness of ads – both ads for our own services and potentially third-party advertisements that may be displayed on AdListo. For example, we might use information about your recent browsing of AdListo to show you an advertisement on AdListo or on another platform for a category of item you viewed. In doing so, we might partner with third-party advertising networks who assist in delivering those ads, but we do not share information with them in a way that directly identifies you without your permission (more on data sharing is in the next section). If we ever offer referral programs or incentives, we would use your information to facilitate those programs (for example, to track referrals and award credits).

Analytics and Service Improvement:
We use data (including aggregated, non-identifiable data) to understand and improve our services. Internally, we analyze user behavior and feedback to troubleshoot problems, develop new features, and inform our business decisions. For example, we might review search query logs to identify common search terms that are returning few results, and then take steps to encourage more listings in those areas. We utilize tools like Google Analytics to gain insights into metrics such as how many users visit certain pages or how long they stay, which in turn helps us figure out what features are working well and what might need improvement. We may also use your information to conduct surveys or ask for reviews that help us understand user satisfaction. These activities are part of our legitimate interest in keeping AdListo competitive and useful.

Safety, Security, and Fraud Prevention:
One of our important uses of personal information is to keep our community safe and enforce our rules. We actively use and process data to prevent fraudulent, suspicious, or illegal activities on the platform. For example, we may use your IP address, device information, and activity history to detect multiple accounts or detect behavior that looks like a scam or spam (such as mass posting of repetitive ads, or messages that contain known scam keywords). We also monitor communications on the platform for violations of our Posting Policy or Terms of Use – for instance, we may algorithmically scan messages for spam or review content that has been reported by users as inappropriate adlisto.com. Additionally, we use automated tools and filters to assist in content moderation – for instance, our system might automatically flag an ad that contains certain prohibited keywords (like offensive language or indications of illegal products) so that it can be reviewed or removed, or use image analysis to detect potentially prohibited images. If we believe a user is attempting to commit fraud or violate the law, we may use all available information we have about that user (including profile info, listings, and communications) to investigate and take appropriate action (such as removing content, banning the user, or contacting law enforcement if necessary). We also use your information to verify accounts and authenticate users (for example, using email verification codes, or SMS verification if we implement phone verification) to reduce the chance of fake accounts. Information about your usage patterns can help us identify and remediate security threats – for example, if we notice logins to your account from a new device or unusual location, we might alert you or temporarily lock the account until we confirm it’s really you. Overall, these uses of data are aimed at protecting our users, combating fraud, and ensuring that AdListo remains a trusted marketplace.

Legal Obligations and Compliance:
In addition to the uses above, we may use your personal information to comply with applicable legal requirements and to protect our legal rights. For instance, we keep transaction records and certain communications to meet financial reporting and audit obligations (for paid services) or to comply with applicable consumer protection and privacy laws. If we receive a lawful subpoena, court order, or other legally binding request for information (for example, from law enforcement investigating illegal activity posted on AdListo), we may process and disclose data as required by that request. We also may use your information to exercise or defend legal claims, to investigate or remedy potential violations of our Terms of Use or Posting Policy, or as evidence in litigation in which we are involved. Furthermore, we use data to enforce our agreements (such as the Terms of Use) and to ensure that our services are used in accordance with our policies and all laws. This might include using certain data to inform you of changes in law or our policy, or to send mandatory notices (for example, if a security breach occurred, we would use your contact information to notify you as required by law).

Aggregated and De-Identified Data:
We may also use your information to create aggregated, anonymized data sets or statistics that do not identify you personally. For example, we might compile statistics on how many users in a particular city posted vehicle ads this month, or the average time it takes for a listing in a certain category to be sold. We use this aggregated data to understand trends, improve the service, and (in some cases) share insights about our platform’s usage publicly or with third parties. For instance, we could publish these statistics on an AdListo blog or share them with prospective investors or advertisers to demonstrate usage patterns. Importantly, when we use data in this way, we remove or anonymize any personal identifiers so that individuals cannot be readily identified.

Other Purposes (with Notice and Consent):
If we intend to use your personal information for a purpose that is not already described in this Privacy Policy, we will provide you with notice and obtain your consent if required. For example, if AdListo were to launch a new feature that involves using your information in a novel way, we would update this Privacy Policy and/or ask for your permission as appropriate. We will not use your personal information for purposes that are incompatible with those described above without informing you and, if necessary, obtaining your consent.

In summary, we process personal information only for purposes that a reasonable person would consider appropriate in the context of an online classifieds marketplace laws-lois.justice.gc.ca. This means using data to facilitate the services you expect from us, to improve your experience, to keep the community safe, and to communicate with you – all while respecting your privacy and complying with the law.

How We Share or Disclose Information
Protecting your privacy is important to us, and we want you to understand when and with whom we might share your personal information. First and foremost, we do not sell your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes oag.ca.gov. In other words, we do not exchange your personal data for money with unrelated companies. We only share personal information in the ways described below, and only as necessary to run our business and provide our services (or as required by law). These are the circumstances in which we may disclose personal information:

With Service Providers (Processors):
We share information with third-party companies and individuals that perform services on our behalf to support the AdListo platform. These service providers are bound by contractual obligations to use personal information only as needed to provide services to us and not for their own purposes. For example, we use service providers for website hosting (they may store and process data on their servers), data analytics (to help us analyze usage patterns), payment processing (to handle credit card transactions securely), email delivery (to send out notification or confirmation emails to users), customer support tools (to manage support inquiries), and security services (such as services that help us detect bot activity or prevent fraud). We only provide these partners with the information they need to perform their specific function. For instance, if we use a third-party email service to send emails, that service will get your email address and the content of the message, but not any other unnecessary information. If we use a payment processor, that processor will receive the information required to process your payment (such as your name, billing address, and payment details). These providers are not permitted to use your data for any other purpose and are required to protect it in accordance with applicable privacy laws and our instructions.

With Business Partners and Advertising/Analytics Partners:
In some cases, we may share certain information with trusted business partners or third parties who provide additional functionality or help us monetize our platform. For example, if AdListo partners with an external service (say, an identity verification service to help verify users, or a shipping service to facilitate delivery for items), we would share the necessary information with that partner to carry out the service (and only with your knowledge or consent when required). We may also share limited information with analytics and advertising partners. For instance, we might use a third-party analytics provider (like Google Analytics) which will collect and analyze usage data; in the process, that third-party may receive your device identifiers or browsing info through its cookies on our site. Likewise, if we display advertisements from third-party ad networks, we may allow those networks to collect certain information (via cookies or similar tracking tech) about your interactions on our site in order to measure ad performance and provide relevant ads (as described in the “Advertising and Marketing” section above). This may be considered a “sharing” of data for interest-based advertising purposes. However, this information typically does not identify you personally by name – it might involve pseudonymous data like your browser cookie ID, device ID, or generalized location. For example, we might share a hashed identifier or unique tag associated with your device so that an advertising partner can recognize your browser without knowing who you are, thereby allowing them to serve relevant ads or cap how many times you see the same ad. We do not hand over your personal contact details to ad networks without your permission (in other words, we do not sell or rent your personal information to outside parties for their own marketing campaigns). In summary, such sharing with partners is limited and done for specific purposes (analytics, advertising, verification, etc.), and we contractually require partners to handle any personal data with care. (If you are a California resident, please see Your Privacy Rights below for information on how you can opt out of certain data sharing related to advertising.)

With Other Users or the Public (Via Your Own Actions):
Some of the information you provide is meant to be shared with other users or to be public, as it is the nature of a classifieds platform. When you post a listing, all of the contents of that listing (including description, photos, price, location, and any contact information you include in the ad) will be visible to anyone who accesses our site. Similarly, if you include contact details in your listing (such as a phone number or email in the ad description), those details will become public as part of the listing. Your profile information (such as your username, posted ads, join date, and possibly your general location or profile photo) may be visible to other users browsing the site, especially if they click on your listings or profile. Additionally, when you engage in transactions or communications through AdListo, some of your information will be shared with the other party by necessity. For example, if you send a message to another user, that user will see your name (or the display name you have chosen) and the content of your message. If you express interest in an ad and we forward your inquiry via email or the platform, the poster of the ad will see whatever information you include in that inquiry (which might include your contact info if you provided it). We encourage you to share information thoughtfully, especially when it will be visible to others. Any information you voluntarily make public on our platform (in a listing, profile, or message) is shared with those who have access to that content and is beyond our direct control.

With Our Corporate Affiliates:
If AdListo L.L.C. is part of a group of related companies, we may share information within that family of companies in order to jointly provide and improve services. For instance, if we (hypothetically) have subsidiaries or sister companies operating in other regions (such as AdListo Canada or AdListo USA divisions) or a parent company, we might transfer or grant access to personal data to those affiliates. Any such affiliate will treat your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. For example, AdListo’s development and technical operations might be handled by our affiliate (or parent) company, which means your data could be accessed or processed by that affiliate for storage, analysis, or support purposes. We ensure that any intra-group sharing of data continues to maintain the safeguards and protections described here.

For Legal Compliance and Protection:
We may disclose personal information when we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, regulation, or valid legal process (such as a subpoena, warrant, or court order) laws-lois.justice.gc.ca. This means if law enforcement or regulators formally request data and we are legally compelled to provide it, we may provide the requested information, after ensuring the request is legitimate and that we disclose only the information that is required. We may also share information if we believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to anyone’s safety, or violations of our Terms of Use or other agreements. For example, if someone posts content that is fraudulent or part of a scam, we might share relevant information with law enforcement authorities to address the issue. Similarly, if we need to enforce our Terms (for instance, to investigate misuse of our platform), we might use and share necessary data in the course of that enforcement. We may also disclose personal information to our legal counsel and external advisors in the context of obtaining advice, or to courts and tribunals as required to protect our rights or resolve disputes (e.g., disclosing information in a lawsuit if we are involved in one).

In Connection with Business Transfers:
If AdListo undertakes a corporate transaction such as a merger, acquisition by another company, sale of all or part of its assets, or financing, personal information may be disclosed to potential or actual purchasers (and their agents and advisors) as part of the due diligence process or the transaction itself. For instance, if another company were to acquire AdListo, user information would likely be one of the assets transferred to that company so that the service can continue under the new ownership. In such events, we would seek to ensure that the new owner agrees to handle your personal information in a manner that is consistent with this Privacy Policy. If a change in ownership means your personal information will be handled under a different privacy policy, we will endeavor to notify you (for example, by email or a notice on our Sites) and, if required, obtain your consent. We will give you an opportunity to delete your account or data if you do not wish to continue under the new ownership. Likewise, if AdListo L.L.C. is involved in a bankruptcy or insolvency proceeding, your information could be considered an asset and sold or transferred to third parties as part of that process. In any transfer of ownership or assets, your personal information will remain subject to the protections outlined in this policy (unless you consent otherwise).

With Your Consent or At Your Direction:
Apart from the scenarios above, we will share your personal information with third parties only if you direct us to or give us explicit permission. For example, if you choose to participate in a special program or feature where sharing your information with a third party is required (say, an integration where you ask us to import or share your AdListo postings to another site, or a promotion run jointly with a partner), we will do so only with your knowledge and consent. Similarly, we may seek to feature user testimonials or success stories on our website or marketing materials – but if those contain personal information (like your name or photo), we will obtain your consent before publishing them. You are in control: if you ask us to share your information with a third party, or you consent to a request that we share it, we will do so under the terms of that consent.

External Links and Third-Party Sites:
Finally, note that our Sites may contain links to external websites or integrated third-party services (for example, map services for showing listing locations, social media sharing buttons, or affiliate links to other sites). If you click on a third-party link or otherwise leave our platform to interact with a third-party service, any personal information you provide to those external parties is not covered by this Privacy Policy. We do not control the privacy practices of other companies, and you should review the privacy policies of any third-party site you visit. For instance, if you click on an advertisement or affiliate link that takes you to another website, any information you provide on that site will be governed by that site’s privacy policy, not ours. We may, however, receive information from third parties about your use of their services in some cases – for example, if you click an affiliate link, the affiliate might notify us of a successful sale for commission purposes, or if you share an AdListo listing on social media, that platform might tell us that our page was visited. Any such information we receive from third parties will be treated in line with this Privacy Policy.

In summary, AdListo shares personal information only when necessary and in a manner consistent with the purposes described in this Policy. We strive to limit the personal data we disclose and to ensure that when we do share information, appropriate safeguards and confidentiality measures are in place. If you have any questions about third parties with whom we may share information, you can always contact us for more information.

AdListo uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to provide, personalize, and improve our services, as well as to facilitate advertising and analytics. A cookie is a small text file that websites send to your device (computer, smartphone, etc.) when you visit, which is then stored by your web browser. Cookies serve various functions: they can remember your preferences and settings, enable certain features, help us understand how you interact with our site, and assist in advertising by tracking your browsing activity over time.

Types of Cookies We Use:
We use both session cookies (which are temporary and get erased when you close your browser) and persistent cookies (which remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them). Some cookies are first-party cookies, set by AdListo (the domain you visit), while others are third-party cookies, set by service providers or partners (like analytics or ad networks). The cookies on our Sites generally fall into the following categories:

  • Necessary Cookies:
These are essential for the operation of our website and services. For example, when you sign in, we use cookies to keep you logged in as you navigate between pages (so you don’t have to re-enter your credentials on every page). Necessary cookies also help with security (for instance, to keep your account secure by detecting suspicious login activities) and to allow core functionality like posting ads or remembering items in your dashboard. Without these cookies, certain services or features cannot be provided.

  • Preferences/Functional Cookies:
These cookies remember your preferences and enhance the functionality of the site. For example, they might save your language selection, your region, or other settings so that you don’t have to set them each time. They can also remember other choices you make to customize your experience, such as if you choose to hide a tutorial or save certain filters on the site.

  • Analytics/Performance Cookies:
These cookies collect information about how users interact with our Sites, helping us understand and improve how the platform works. For instance, they allow us to recognize and count the number of visitors and see which pages or features are most popular, how users navigate through the site, and where they encounter errors. We may use third-party analytics tools (like Google Analytics) which set their own cookies to perform these services. The information gathered is typically aggregated and used to identify trends (e.g., overall site usage patterns), rather than to profile individual users. This helps us continuously improve AdListo, fix issues, and make informed decisions about new features and content.

  • Advertising and Targeting Cookies:
AdListo may work with third-party advertising partners who use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your browsing activities on our site (and potentially on other sites) in order to show you relevant advertisements on our platform or across other websites. These cookies “remember” that you visited AdListo or engaged with a certain listing, and they help us present ads that are more likely to interest you. For example, if you viewed listings for bicycles on AdListo, you might later see an advertisement on AdListo (or on another site, through our ad partners) for bicycle accessories. These cookies can also limit the number of times you see the same ad and measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. The data collected through these advertising cookies may be linked to a pseudonymous identifier associated with your browser or device, but it does not directly reveal your identity (we do not share your name or email with advertisers without consent, for instance). Our affiliate link programs also use cookies. AdListo participates in a number of affiliate marketing networks – including programs like AvantLink, Awin, CJ Affiliate, ClickBank, eBay Partner Network, FlexOffers, iDevAffiliate, MaxBounty, Rakuten Affiliate Network, RevenueWire, ShareASale, and the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program – which use cookies to track referrals and sales. By way of illustration, when you log in to AdListo we may set a cookie (for example, session_id or a similarly named cookie) to maintain your login session; for analytics, Google Analytics might set cookies called _ga or _gid to measure your visits and interactions; and if we display advertising via Google or another ad network, a cookie like IDE (used by Google’s DoubleClick domain) or other ad-specific cookies could be stored to help manage and track the ads you see. These examples show how different cookies serve different roles on our platform.

  • Third-Party Integration Cookies:
These cookies are set by third-party services that we integrate into our Sites. For instance, if you use a social login feature (like signing in via Google or Facebook), those providers may set cookies to facilitate the login process and remember that you authenticated through their service. Likewise, if our site includes social media plug-ins or ‘Share’ buttons, the social networks (such as Facebook or Twitter) might set cookies via our site to recognize your account and track your interaction. These cookies allow the third party to provide their functionality (e.g., logging you in or noting that you shared content) and might also collect data for the third party’s own purposes according to their privacy policies. We do not control these cookies; they are managed by the third parties themselves. However, you can usually block or delete them through your browser settings just like any other cookies.

Web Beacons and Similar Technologies:
In addition to cookies, we (and our partners) use technologies like web beacons (also known as pixel tags or clear GIFs), scripts, and device identifiers in our mobile app. A web beacon is a tiny graphic or snippet of code embedded on a webpage or email that monitors your activity. For example, our emails may contain a pixel that lets us know if you opened the email, which helps us gauge the effectiveness of our communications. Similarly, in our mobile app, we may collect a mobile advertising identifier provided by your device’s operating system (such as Apple’s IDFA or Google’s Advertising ID) for analytics or advertising purposes analogous to cookies oag.ca.gov. We may also utilize browser local storage or similar technologies (which allow larger amounts of data to be stored locally on your browser) to save certain preferences or data (for example, caching parts of pages for faster load times). This local storage functions like a persistent cookie, and you can typically clear it via your browser settings alongside cookies and cached data. These technologies often work in conjunction with cookies to remember or transmit information.

Your Choices and Controls:
You have several options to manage or limit how cookies and similar technologies are used:

  • Browser Settings:
Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can modify your browser setting to decline cookies or alert you when a cookie is being placed. Check your browser’s help section for instructions on how to delete or disable cookies (for example, in Chrome you can clear cookies in Settings > Privacy and Security, and in Safari you can do so under Preferences > Privacy). Please note that if you disable or delete certain cookies, our website may not function properly. For example, you might not be able to log in, post listings, or use other essential features if cookies are turned off.

  • Device Settings (for mobile apps):
If you are using our mobile application, your device may allow you to limit the use of certain mobile identifiers for advertising purposes (often found in the privacy settings of your iOS or Android device as “Limit Ad Tracking” or “Opt out of Ads Personalization”).

  • Interest-Based Advertising Opt-Outs:
To opt out of interest-based advertising from many ad networks, you can visit industry opt-out pages such as the Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA) opt-out portal or the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) opt-out page. Major advertising platforms also offer their own opt-outs – for example, Google allows you to adjust ad personalization in your Google Account settings, and Facebook provides ad preference settings in your profile. If you are in Canada, you can also visit the DAAC’s AdChoices program site for options relevant to Canadian users. These tools allow you to opt out of the use of your information for interest-based advertising by participating companies. Keep in mind this opt-out is typically cookie-based, so if you clear your cookies, you may need to opt out again. Likewise, your choices are generally browser- or device-specific – for example, opting out on your laptop browser won’t apply on your phone, so you’ll need to adjust settings on each platform you use.

  • Global Privacy Control and “Do Not Track”:
Some browsers have a “Do Not Track” (DNT) feature that sends a signal to websites indicating that you do not want to be tracked. However, there is currently no consensus on how to interpret DNT signals, and thus many websites (including AdListo) do not respond to them in a uniform way. Instead, we provide the controls described in this section. That said, we recognize emerging privacy preference signals: if you enable the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal (a browser setting or extension that communicates an opt-out preference), we will treat it as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (for California residents) or as otherwise required by law oag.ca.gov. In practice, this means we will endeavor to disable third-party advertising cookies on AdListo for visitors who have GPC enabled, to the extent those cookies involve selling or sharing your data under applicable law.

  • Cookie Banner/Consent Manager: If you see a cookie consent banner or notice on our site (for example, when required by law or when you first visit the site), you can use it to manage your cookie preferences. We will honor the choices you make via that tool. If you initially consent to certain categories of cookies and later change your mind, you can typically adjust your preferences by clearing cookies and revisiting the site to reset the banner (or via a provided settings link if available).

For more detailed information about the cookies and tracking technologies we use, you can refer to our separate Cookies Policy page on our website (if available). By using our Sites and services, you consent to the use of cookies and similar technologies as described above, unless you disable them through your own settings. Please note that even if you opt out of interest-based advertising or certain cookies, you may still receive advertisements – they just will not be personalized based on your interests. Also, opting out of cookies does not mean you opt out of all forms of data collection (for example, we may still collect information for other purposes like site analytics or necessary service functions as permitted by law).

Cookie Consent:
Different laws apply to cookies in different regions. In Canada, for example, organizations may rely on implied consent for non-essential cookies as long as users are adequately informed and have the opportunity to opt out resourcehub.bakermckenzie.com. This means that by continuing to use our Sites after being presented with clear information about our cookie practices (e.g., via this Privacy Policy and any cookie notice on the site), we infer that you consent to the use of cookies as described. If you choose to disable cookies through your browser, that indicates to us that you do not consent to non-essential cookies, and we will abide by that (for instance, we won’t attempt to set behavioral advertising cookies if you have blocked cookies entirely). In the United States, while there is no federal cookie law, certain state laws (like California’s CCPA/CPRA) require that we disclose our online tracking practices and honor certain opt-out mechanisms. We are committed to complying with those requirements, such as recognizing the Global Privacy Control signal as described above. Overall, we aim to handle cookies and tracking data in a privacy-conscious manner that meets the legal standards of both the U.S. and Canada. We will update our practices as needed if laws change or further guidance on cookies is issued by regulatory authorities. Furthermore, we do not knowingly engage in behavioral advertising targeted at children (minors) nor do we knowingly place tracking cookies on services directed at children, consistent with regulatory guidance that such practices are not appropriate resourcehub.bakermckenzie.com.

Data Security and Retention
Data Security:
We take the security of your personal information seriously. AdListo implements a range of technical and organizational security measures designed to protect your data from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. For example, our website is encrypted using Transport Layer Security (TLS) (you’ll notice the “https://” in our URLs), which protects data in transit between your browser and our servers. We also employ firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and network monitoring to guard against external attacks. Our servers are housed in secure facilities and we implement access controls to ensure that only authorized personnel can reach them. Data is stored on secure servers with restricted access, and we regularly update our software and systems to apply security patches and mitigate new vulnerabilities. Personal information is accessible only to those employees, contractors, and service providers who need it to perform their duties, and they are subject to strict confidentiality obligations. We take precautions with sensitive information: for instance, user passwords are stored in hashed form (which means we do not keep your actual password in a readable format), and payment information is handled by our PCI-compliant payment processors (meaning they adhere to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) rather than stored on our servers. Additionally, we train our staff on privacy and security best practices to foster a culture of security. We maintain logs and audit trails of certain activities to detect anomalies, and we periodically review our security measures through testing and assessments to improve them continually. Despite all these safeguards, it is important to note that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security of data. You should also play a role in keeping your account safe by using a strong, unique password and protecting your account credentials. If you believe that your account or data may have been compromised (for example, if you notice any unauthorized activity in your account), please contact us immediately so we can assist. In the unlikely event of a data breach or security incident, we have a dedicated response plan to address it. This includes promptly investigating the situation, taking necessary steps to rectify or mitigate any vulnerabilities, and cooperating with law enforcement or regulatory bodies if needed. We will also notify affected users and the relevant authorities as required by law (for instance, we would email you and/or post a notice if an incident occurs, consistent with our obligations under laws like PIPEDA and state breach notification statutes).

Data Retention:
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required or permitted by law resourcehub.bakermckenzie.com. In practice, this means that we keep your information for as long as you have an account or an active relationship with AdListo, and for a reasonable period thereafter. We may consider an account inactive after a prolonged period of disuse (for example, if you have not logged in or posted any content for a number of years) and, in line with our storage limitation principles, we may delete or anonymize personal data from such dormant accounts to reduce our data footprint. We will endeavor to notify you (e.g., via your registered email) before closing an inactive account or deleting its information to give you an opportunity to keep it active, subject to applicable laws. For example, when you post a listing, the content of that listing will typically remain available on our site until it expires or you delete it; we may also retain a backup of the listing (and associated data) for a short period after deletion (in case of accidental deletion or system recovery needs). Personal data might also persist temporarily in our routine system backups; however, those backups are stored securely and are only accessed for disaster-recovery purposes. We ensure that backup data is also subject to secure deletion on a schedule, so personal information in backups will be erased or anonymized over time as those backup files are replaced. If you delete your account, you may do so through your AdListo account settings (if such an option is available) or by requesting deletion through customer support. Once your deletion request is processed, we will remove or anonymize personal information associated with your account within a reasonable timeframe. However, please note that we may retain certain information after account deletion for legitimate reasons: to comply with legal requirements (such as maintaining transaction records for tax or accounting purposes (for example, we may need to keep invoicing records for seven years as commonly required by financial regulations)), to resolve disputes or enforce our Terms (for example, we might keep records of communications or postings by a user who was removed for misconduct, in case of future claims), or to detect and prevent fraud (for instance, retaining an email or IP address of a banned user to block re-registration). When we no longer have a legitimate need or legal obligation to retain your personal information, we will securely dispose of it or irreversibly anonymize it so that you can no longer be identified. For instance, we may aggregate and anonymize usage data (so it no longer identifies individuals) and retain that aggregated data for business analysis, but we will delete the underlying personal data. We periodically review the data we hold and erase or anonymize personal information that is no longer needed. For instance, raw web server logs (which include IP addresses and visit timestamps) are typically retained for only a few weeks or months for security and debugging purposes before being deleted or anonymized, whereas account information and user-generated content are kept for as long as your account is active (and for a limited time after). We aim not to keep any personal data indefinitely without justification, and our policies ensure data is disposed of when it is no longer required.

In summary, we safeguard your data using industry-standard security measures and we keep your data only for as long as it is needed. We are committed to continuously evaluating and improving our security practices to adapt to new threats and to complying with applicable data retention laws and regulations. If you have any questions about how long we keep specific information or how we protect it, you can contact us at any time for more details.

Privacy of Children
AdListo is intended for use by a general audience and is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 years old. If you are under 13, please do not attempt to register for an account or provide any personal information about yourself on our Sites. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will take prompt steps to delete that information from our records.

If you are a parent or guardian and you believe that your child under 13 may have provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at our support email or through our contact form. We will work with you to investigate and remove any such information.

For users between the ages of 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction (for example, 18 in many regions), we advise that you use AdListo under the supervision of a parent or guardian. Some content on our platform may be inappropriate for younger teenagers, and certain features (such as making payments or entering into sale agreements) may require an adult’s involvement. By using our Sites, you affirm that you are at least 13 years of age (and, if you are under the age of majority, that you have the permission of your parent or guardian to use the service).

AdListo does not knowingly solicit or market to children. We abide by applicable laws such as the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), which imposes requirements on websites regarding the collection of data from children under 13 years old. In line with those laws and other applicable regulations, we make efforts to prevent the involvement of minors in data collection on our platform. If in the future we decide to offer a section of our service that is directed toward children, we will do so in compliance with all relevant children’s privacy laws and obtain the necessary parental consents. Currently, however, our service is designed for users who are adults or teenagers 13 and older.

Your Privacy Rights and Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction and the nature of your interactions with AdListo, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. We are committed to honoring the privacy rights of our users. This section describes the rights that individuals may exercise and how to exercise them. Please note that these rights may be subject to some conditions or exceptions as specified by law.

General Rights (Access, Correction, Deletion):
Irrespective of where you are located, AdListo will reasonably assist you if you wish to access, update, or delete the personal information we hold about you.

  • Access:
You have the right to request a copy of the personal information we have collected about you, and to get information about how we have used and shared that information resourcehub.bakermckenzie.com. For example, you can request to know what data is associated with your account or what personal information is in a specific record. We will provide you with this information, subject to any legal restrictions or exemptions (for instance, we may not be able to divulge data that contains personal information of other individuals or confidential business information, unless we can sever such details).

  • Correction (Rectification):
If any of your personal information is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to ask us to correct it. For example, if you find that your contact information or preferences are recorded incorrectly in your account, you can request that we update it. Where possible, we also give you tools to update your information directly (for instance, you can edit your profile details by logging into your account). If you need assistance making a correction, contact us and we will work to fix any inaccuracies.

  • Deletion (Erasure):
You have the right to request deletion of your personal information we have collected from you and retained, subject to certain exceptions. Once we receive and confirm a verifiable deletion request, we will delete (and direct our service providers to delete) your personal information from our records, unless an exception applies. For example, we might deny deletion if the information is necessary to complete a transaction you requested, to detect security incidents, to comply with a legal obligation, or other reasons allowed by law. If we must deny a deletion request, we will explain the reason.

Withdrawal of Consent:
Where we rely on your consent to process your personal information (for example, for sending marketing emails or for using certain cookies), you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time laws-lois.justice.gc.ca. If you withdraw consent, we will stop the processing that was based on consent. For instance, you can opt out of marketing emails by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in any promotional email, or adjust your cookie preferences as described in the Cookies section. Withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out prior to withdrawal, and it may not apply to processing based on other legal grounds (for example, we might still process your data if necessary to fulfill a contract with you or to comply with a legal obligation). We will explain any implications of withdrawing consent (such as how it might prevent us from providing certain services to you) if you choose to do so.

California Privacy Rights:
If you are a resident of California, you are entitled to specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) (collectively referred to here as “CCPA”). These include:

  • Right to Know:
You have the right to request that we disclose to you the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you oag.ca.gov, the categories of sources of that information, the business or commercial purpose for collecting (or selling/sharing) it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it. Essentially, this means you can ask us, “What information do you have about me and how is it used and shared?” and we will provide you with the relevant information for the 12-month period preceding your request.

  • Right to Delete:
You have the right to request deletion of personal information we have collected from you and retained, subject to certain exceptions.

  • Right to Correct:
You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate personal information that we maintain about you. Upon verifying the validity of your correction request, we will correct the information as you direct (taking into account the nature of the information and purpose of processing).

  • Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing:
You have the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information to third parties, as well as the “sharing” of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes oag.ca.gov. As noted earlier, AdListo does not sell personal information for money. In terms of “sharing” for behavioral ads, we provide you the ability to opt out (for instance, through the cookie preferences or by enabling Global Privacy Control in your browser, which we honor as an opt-out signal). If you opt out, we will not share your personal information with third parties for targeted advertising.

  • Right to Non-Discrimination:
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights oag.ca.gov. This means we will not deny you our services, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of quality just because you exercised your rights (subject to some permitted distinctions if you, for example, request deletion of data necessary for a service – in which case we might not be able to provide that service). Any financial incentive or program that requires collecting personal information will be based on your consent with a clear explanation (and you can opt out of such incentive programs at any time).

If you are a California resident and would like to exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the methods described below in “Exercising Your Rights.” We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request (for example, by asking you to provide information that matches our records). Note that you can designate an authorized agent to make requests on your behalf, but we will require proof that the agent is acting with your permission.

Other U.S. State Privacy Rights:
Several other U.S. states (such as Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, and Utah) have enacted privacy laws that confer rights similar to those in California (e.g., rights to access, correct, delete, or opt-out of certain data processing). If you are a resident of one of these states, you may exercise analogous rights in accordance with applicable law. For instance, residents of Virginia can request access to and deletion of their data, and opt out of the processing of personal data for targeted advertising or certain profiling. AdListo will honor valid privacy requests from residents of any U.S. state that has enacted privacy legislation, and we have endeavored to extend the core privacy rights to all users in the spirit of treating personal data with care. If you have any questions about state-specific rights, you can contact us for more information. Also, if you believe we have not fulfilled your request properly, some state laws grant you the right to appeal our decision – if that situation arises, we will provide you with information on how to submit an appeal.

Canadian Privacy Rights:
If you are in Canada, your privacy rights are protected by laws such as the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and provincial privacy laws. Under these laws, you have rights to access and correct your personal information, as well as to challenge our compliance with the law:

  • Access and Accuracy:
You can request access to the personal information we have about you, and we will provide you with a copy of or access to that information within a reasonable time (generally within 30 days as mandated by PIPEDA). You also have the right to request corrections to any personal data that is inaccurate or incomplete. We will amend the information as required, or if we refuse to correct it (for example, if we disagree that it is incorrect), we will note your requested correction in the file.

  • Withdrawal of Consent:
As discussed above, you may withdraw consent to the collection, use, or disclosure of your personal information at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions resourcehub.bakermckenzie.com. We will inform you of any implications of withdrawing consent (for example, that we may no longer be able to provide certain services to you). PIPEDA (and similar provincial laws) acknowledges that consent is required for most uses of personal data, and you are free to change your mind and withdraw consent for further use of your information (with reasonable notice to us) except where that information is needed to fulfill an ongoing service or legal requirement.

  • Complaints:
You have the right to challenge our compliance with Canadian privacy laws. If you have a concern about how we handle your personal information, we encourage you to contact us so we can address it. We will investigate all complaints and respond in a timely manner. If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to raise your concern with the relevant privacy regulator. In Canada, the federal regulator is the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (OPC), and there are also provincial privacy commissioners (for example, in Quebec, British Columbia, and Alberta) for data matters under provincial jurisdiction. We will provide you with the contact information for the appropriate regulator upon request or you can find it online. Under PIPEDA, you may also have the right to request a review by the Federal Court if your complaint to the OPC is not resolved.

Exercising Your Rights (Submitting Requests):
To exercise any of the rights described above or to ask a question about your privacy rights, you can contact us through the contact methods provided at the end of this Privacy Policy (for example, by emailing support@adlisto.com or using the online contact form). Please specify the nature of your request (e.g., “I am requesting access to my personal data” or “Please delete my account information”) and provide enough information for us to verify your identity. For certain requests, especially those involving sensitive data or extensive records, we may require additional verification (such as government-issued ID or additional info) to ensure we are protecting your data from unauthorized access. We will confirm receipt of your request and let you know how long it should take to fulfill (we strive to respond within 30 days for most requests, and 45 days for California-specific requests, as required by CCPA, with the possibility of a reasonable extension as permitted by law).

We will not charge you a fee for exercising your rights unless the request is manifestly unfounded or excessive (in which case we will explain the justification and provide a cost estimate before proceeding).

Please note that when we fulfill your rights requests, there may be some residual information we cannot completely delete from our systems immediately, due to technical constraints (e.g., data stored in encrypted backups) or legal constraints (e.g., records we must keep). However, such information will remain protected and will be removed in accordance with our routine data retention practices as explained in our policy. Rest assured, we will not retaliate against you for exercising any of your rights. Your privacy choices are important to us, and we will do our best to accommodate your requests to the fullest extent required by law.
